This page provides a variety of screen shots to introduce you to My Sleep Tracker:
(Depending upon the type of device you have, the app may look slightly different than the following screen shots.)
The app's Home screen lets you quickly enter recent sleep information and review your sleep efficiency for the last week.
First enter when you went to bed. Then, add entries describing your night. For each entry you essentially answer the question, “And then what happened?”. Choose one of the options:
Many things you do during the day can affect your sleep, so it may be useful to track them. Activities include things like exercise and stuff you consume like caffeine, drugs, and food – or naps taken during the daytime.
A large number of sleep-related activities are built into My Sleep Tracker, and many of these may not be relevant to you. You can hide activities that are not relevant or that you do not want to track using the Settings.
A key benefit of recording data in My Sleep Tracker is the ability for you or your sleep therapist to quickly identify patterns of sleep behavior, without having to manually inspect and collate the data. After your bed and sleep information has been recorded for a couple days, several charts provide quick insight into your sleep. Alternatively, you can use the table of sleep metrics to see exact values for any date.
The Daily Logs screen lets you review previously entered data – for any date range. (In contrast, the Home screen only shows your your data for the previous day and night.) Initially a brief summary is shown for each day. Tap on any day, to see detailed log information. To change the range of dates displayed, tap on the filter command (found in toolbar on the top of the screen).
The My Sleep Tracker app will not harvest your data or secretly give your sleep analysis information to anyone. To share information with someone (such as a sleep therapist), users may wish to manually take screenshots and send the screenshots to someone. Please be aware that many email, messaging, and image sharing services are not confidential.
The analysis charts and tables do include a share button to assist with manually sharing information using an email attachment. However, depending on the your type of device and the email app you use, sharing using the email attachment feature may or may not work.
